Department description / job purpose / role:

It is especially important today because the business environment became more dynamic and unpredictable, while we are facing various disruptions from weather, to power outages, political events and virus outbreaks.

Group Protection & Resilience is responsible for the governance, standard setting and systematic monitoring within all Allianz operating entities (OEs) across the globe. We define the core professional, procedural and organizational requirements to anticipate and prepare for, and adapt to changes and sudden disruptions in order to protect Allianz’ business operations (IT and Non-IT), personnel and physical assets so that the Allianz Group is better positioned to respond in an effective and efficient manner.

We are looking for Working Student who is interested in advancing existing and developing new skills while being part of the team that is responsible for Protective Security Management (incl. monitoring the global security situation and travel security management) as well as incident and emergency response management.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

+ Support Group Protection & Resilience in all relevant activities
+ Collecting and recording data on global business-related travel movements for tracking/monitoring/alerting reasons
+ Setting up and maintaining reporting systems
+ Support security monitoring and global incident / emergency response management processes
+ Prepare briefings on special security situations for business travelers
+ Administering a knowledge base on security-related topics
+ Maintaining global intranet pages on these topics
+ Backoffice support for Group Crisis Unit in current COVID crisis

 

Qualification
(education, trainings, certificates, special IT skills - e.g coding languages + specific software skills, language skills, etc.):

 

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Flexibility and ability to work in stress situations
+ Good interpersonal skills and strong team player
+ Fluent in English, other languages are welcome
+ Excellent command of the common MS Office programs

 

Experience & Key skills
(relevant professional experience, years of experience, soft skills, etc.):

 

+ Enlisted as a student at a University, preferably enlisted in Master studies or at least 3rd semester of Bachelor
+ Minimum of 12 months, longer commitment is welcome
