As Solution Architect (m/f/d) you are responsible to create IT solutions for our market data platform and manage the solutions architecture. You are the ambassador between Governance Boards, Enterprise Architecture and projects by transforming, establishing and retaining guidelines, principles, blueprints in all directions. Thereby you consider the corporate strategy and realize all business processes that define how IDS achieves its strategic goals.

  • Design the target solution and manage the Solution Architecture to enable our IDS services used by asset/investment managers within as well as outside Allianz
  • Analyze the non-functional requirements
  • Choose the technology, framework, platform in collaboration with the Enterprise Architects and other IDS specialists
  • Support Project Manager with architectural expertise
  • Provide consulting and guidance to the development team
  • Evaluate third-party products including strategic-fit, risks and compliance with IDS and Allianz Group strategy
  • Ensures compliance of the solution with non-functional requirements, such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, reliability and IDS enterprise architecture



  • University degree preferably in IT, software engineering, (business) computer science or comparable degree
  • Profound professional experience in the design of IT solutions, including selection of appropriate technologies
  • Datawarehouse knowhow
  • Experience with market data is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (across hierarchies)
  • Ability to change perspectives and to convincingly obtain buy-in of all stakeholders
  • Ability to formulate and solve problems, independent thinking
  • Very strong team player, responsible and dependable
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and can-do-attitude
  • Interest in financial/insurance industry topics
  • Fluent in English and in German
