Job Purpose / Role 


This role supports the executives of Divisional Comms H6 with project management, orchestrating of resources, capabilities and administrative support concerning comms strategy and operations for Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Human Resources, and Mergers & Acquisitions. Main focal points of H6 comms are


  • The engagement, understanding, and trust of Allianz’s global employee base by facilitating a Global employee network.
  • A well understood enterprise and business growth strategy, particularly with respect to inorganic growth. 
  • The development of a world-leading culture for the balancing of modern risk management and entrepreneurship practices. 
  • A stronger, more resilient, and more valuable company resulting from the contributions of this division and its people. 


Tasks and desired outcomes include:


  • be responsible for the setup and coordination of projects of strategic dimension such as the Global employee network as well as topics of operational urgency
  • map, structure, operationalize and follow up on decisions and workflows
  • collaborate and coordinate with colleagues from Group Comms, H6 and internal stakeholders across divisions, countries and functions, as well as professional service providers where applicable
  • leverage and prepare research, data and target group insights to support decisions on design of comms for maximum people centricity and business impact
  • continuously strive for an outstanding experience and engagement of all people in the overall context of H6 targets
  • support executives with administrative tasks such as meeting preparations, presentations and agenda


Ideal candidate profile:


  • Outcomes-driven, strategic but hands-on, entrepreneurial, empathic and biased to action
  • independent self-starter with intellectual curiosity, creative, analytical and lateral thinker and a passion for people
  • humorous and joyful, Global attitude, engages on a personal level
  • used to work in a fast-paced, diverse, interdisciplinary, international environment
  • experience in project management, management consulting, executive assistant, strategy or transformation with exposure to HR topics being a benefit
  • knows how to lead complex cross-functional projects from strategy to operations
  • solid experience in communicating, aligning, and managing stakeholders across multiple levels, including executive leadership
  • sees opportunities with business acumen and a growth mindset, challenging the status quo and permanently striving for outstanding results
  • speaks English fluently, with advanced German a big plus
