Job Purpose/Role
We are looking for an Executive Assitant (m/f/d) to the Head of Group Strategy Marketing and Distribution (GSMD).

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the head of GSMD in all operational and strategic tasks regarding his responsibility for Strategy, marketing and distribution topics
  • Ensuring an effective and efficient execution of various projects and strategic initiatives 
  • Interaction with representatives of operating entities (OEs) and Allianz SE Group Centers to prepare
  • meetings, top-management presentations and to conduct analyses
  • Preparation of content and communications for the head of GSMD for internal and external purposes in
  • direct alignment with the head of GSMD
  • Shadow the head of GSMD in business functions and presentations, be a sounding board and provide
  • analytical data and business information to support the head of GSMD
  • Interface function to coordinate and cooperate with heads of departments to ensure that there is
  • collaboration between GSMD and other Hs in Allianz SE
  • Participation in planning and conceptualizing departmental needs such as: new department structure,
  • resource planning, budget planning, support model for OEs, etc.
  • Maintaining the overview of all the ongoing initiatives and ensuring that the attention to priorities,
  • opportunities for synergies, and where further attention is needed remains in focus
  • Lead the team supporting the head of GSMD for preparation of presentations, meeting minutes

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience/Qualification:

  • University degree (diploma or master’s degree with excellent academic track record)
  • Fluent in spoken/written English; additional languages are a plus
  • Strong computer literacy in Ms Office (esp. Power Point, Excel, Word)
  • Experience & Key Skills:
  • 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Experience in working in a strategic field, ideally several years in consulting
  • Very sharp analytic and conceptual skills; ability to frame issues, structure thinking, and derive key
  • messages and actions
  • Proven experience in international environment with excellent cross-cultural skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
  • Pro-active and independent working style with a can-do attitude with the ability to deliver high-quality
  • results, even under time pressure
  • Very strong communication skills and confidence in daily interaction with senior management
  • High level of reliability, dedication and commitment
  • High integrity and trustworthiness
