The department and team:

Center of Competence Life and Health (CLH) is functioning as the extended workbench of the Allianz SE Board of Management through strategy development; growth and business enabling through excellence in skills; technical regime development and global/regional/local projects.

Accelerating the harmonization and internationalization of the Allianz Life business is a key focus for the group aimed at supporting growth, establishing broader scale benefits and increasing overall efficiency/effectiveness. Various regional delivery models are in built phase, supported by the Allianz Customer Model (ACM) - an initiative of the Allianz Group that accelerates the transformation of our business with the customer at the core. CLH works closely with the ACM team within H10 Business Transformation at Allianz SE as well as AZ Technology and H4 - Operations to shape solutions for the global Life business. The Life Harmonization and Internationalization Team is responsible for collaborating witn and enabling OEs to execute regional initiatives incl. ACM for the Life business across the entire Allianz Group. Activities span the full spectrum of simplicity and harmonization of products, services, processes and platforms. A particular current focus is on setting up scalable solutions that enables an optimized customer and distributor front end landscape, as well as operations and IT management.

 


Key responsibilties:

  • Drive the successful development/improvement and implementation of harmonization and internationalization measures (incl ACM) in entities of the Allianz Group around the world.
  • Analyse Life Insurance front end solutions in place for customers and distributors; prepare recommendations on future target picture and related execution path
  • Develop, implement and modify products/propositions by using and promoting the Allianz Product Lab. Participate in research and development and coordinate / steer roll-out of products, including terms and conditions and regulatory aspects.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key ACM/IT and Operations stakeholders within Allianz SE and across local Allianz entities.
  • Prepare presentations, status reports and business reviews on project implementations
  • Prepare business network meetings and conference calls for CLH virtual expert communities
  • Prepare and facilitate various workshops/meetings, including documentation and follow-up project management support
  • Reporting to (function): Head of Life Harmonization and Internationalization 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent University degree and/or professional  insurance qualification - focus on Technology and Customer Experience is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and at least one additional business language
  • Good MS-Office skills
  • Project management certifications for example OPEX Blue/Black Belt or equivalent Six Sigma certification an advantage

 

 

Experience and Key skills:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in the insurance business or consultancy, more is welcomed (responsibilities will vary depending on your level of experience) 
  • Interest and experience in customer experience engineering and optimization
  • Proven project management skills with a particular focus on technology related projects
  • Experience in project management in an international, multi-cultural environment
  • Process-minded, analytical, good problem solver
  • Good conceptual/strategic skills, willingness to work on cross-functional projects
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, including willingness to communicate with senior management
  • Willingness to multitask, with focus on speed and execution
  • Proactive, high level of energy and drive, above average commitment and flexibility
  • Willingness to travel and work in international projects
  • Good knowledge of the Allianz organization in terms of structure and business model
  • Ideally international work experience.
  • Ideally experience with transformational projects & change management
  • Deep knowledge in at least one of the following insurance areas: Products & Pricing, Underwriting, Sales,Claims, Operations, Market Management, IT
  • Good understanding of the entire insurance value chain and the key profit drivers per respective focus area
