Job Purpose/Role 

 

The Global System Integration (GSI) function is in charge of all rollouts and is also responsible for the smooth running of the local/country layers, as well as OE-specific solutions. The function ensures a harmonized set of tools, methodologies, and cross project quality assurance and an industrial roll-out of all target systems

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • The objective of the Program Manager is to plan, monitor, coordinate and manage complex programs comprising multiple (sub-) projects from initiation through completion thus contributing to Allianz Technology's goal to foster digitalization within the Allianz Group.
  • This typically implies the functional lead of project teams to achieve relevant milestones and objectives.
  • This position is responsible for the successful, timely and expected implementation of the program within budgeted costs, being aware of major dependencies and interactions across Allianz.
  • Develop strategic planning and roadmap for successful and timely program completion within budget costs, considering all relevant internal and external interactions. Serve as an recognized expert within the organization predominantly in own discipline.
  • Direct program management and organization to ensure program results meet business requirements regarding technical quality, reliability and schedule.
  • Coordinates program planning in terms of resourcing, staffing, supply and contract management, progress reporting and people management.
  • Monitor program progress including performance, cost controlling and trigger escalation via Senior Management when deviating from the baseline. 
  • Coordinate planning (Budget, Timelines, Scope, Quality), change request management and reporting of the program activities.
  • Anticipate potential business challenges, find solutions for complex problems and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Establish efficient program coordination with clear responsibilities in relevant (sub-) projects

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

 

  • University degree in business administration, economics, IT or technology related fields. Higher education degree is preferred. 
  • Theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience of common project management methods, ideally with a certification in a common market standard, e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, SAFe
  • High proficiency in English; Knowledge of other languages ​​is an advantage
  • Experience in managing complex programs, ideally in an international matrix organization
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to constantly challenge and improve status quo
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of corporate hierarchy and within a global team
  • Methodological and conceptual skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving
