JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

In the team BA – Analytics you are integrated in an expert and project team with a highly diversified range of topics. 
As a Business Analyst (m/f/d) you are responsible for analyzing and implementing new regulatory requirements and processes. You are the key contact and act as interface between business and IT. In your daily job you will work on new regulatory requirements and setting up new reports. You work together with various departments to support and act as a consultant concerning the feasibility of data requirements. Starting date asap. We offer an extensive onboarding program to support your entry into IDS GmbH.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzing regulations and/or business specific requirements, e. g. Solvency II, CRR/CRD iV and other regulatory related topics within the Asset Management context
  • Designing, specifying and testing (e. g. regulatory) requirements, new features or software improvements
  • Close collaboration with various internal and external colleagues e.g. Software Developers, Architects 
  • Planning, coordination and monitoring of regulatory changes
  • Advanced data analysis via SQL, R or Python
  • Identify potential for optimization 
  • Key member in various internal and external projects

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in economics, business administration, business information technology, mathematics, physics and/or an equivalent experience in finance 
  • Professional experience in Asset- and Risk Management or banking industry including exposure to financial markets and instruments
  • Several years of professional experience in the area of regulatory reporting and data analysis (e.g. consulting industry or controlling)
  • A very flexible and proactive approach, combining diplomacy and assertiveness
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with an agile mindset
  • Understanding of operational reporting processes and data quality
  • High degree of analytical thinking, motivation, autonomy and an above-average willingness to perform
  • Programming skills in VBA, SQL, R and Python are a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
