We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward thinking, dynamic and solution orientated Product Governance & Initiatives Manager (f/m/d). The position is based in either our Frankfurt or Munich office.

 

Within this exciting global role you will contribute to establish the Product Governance & Initiatives team which is responsible for driving effective governance across all fund ranges, implementing a pricing framework that meets regulatory and strategic requirements and prioritizing product initiatives. The use of technology, for instance to improve the way we work and assess the impact of regulatory changes on product range, will be key to this role.

The Product Governance & Initiatives team is part of the Products function. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Product Governance & Initiatives and support the Products Leadership team in shaping the Products function of the future.

 

Key Responsibilities

You will join a newly created team and responsibilities will include, among other, the following topics.

  • Support the strategic development and design of a centralized product governance function
  • Assess the efficacy of current processes and make recommendations for improvement and potential standardization of governance across all fund ranges globally
  • Design, build and maintain an automated/ standardized approach for assessing AllianzGI’ product range on a regular basis in line with regulatory requirements
  • Support the implementation of a global pricing framework and co-ordinate regular pricing reviews in line with regulatory and strategic requirements
  • Ensure consistency and quality of management information and documentation for global and regional product committees
  • Maintain awareness of industry developments and regulatory changes which may have an impact on AllianzGI’ fund ranges
  • Manage and coordinate regulatory change initiatives and work with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation
  • Support global capacity management/ the co-ordination process ensuring regular updates to senior stakeholders
  • Ensure all product related policies are defined and updated by the responsible product teams on a regular basis

Depending on your previous experience, your responsibilities can be broadened.

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Excellent academic degree and knowledge of investment products, including familiarity with various asset/ fund types
  • Preferably 2 to 5 years of professional experience working in a complex, intrapreneurial and interdisciplinary environment where relationship building is critical
  • Analytical skills and logical thinking with excellent attention to detail
  • Technological savviness and data-driven approach
  • Learning agility and intellectual curiosity for new technologies that can help overcome regulatory challenges in financial services
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to motivate others
  • Global mentality and cross functional collaborator
  • Excellent presentation skills including the ability to articulate ideas to a senior audience in a compelling manner
  • Proficiency in English; further languages are an advantage
