The Strategy and Transformation team supports the CFO of Allianz Real Estate in strategic and transformation projects. Together with Corporate Controlling, the team is also responsible for the annual strategic and planning dialogue with PIMCO and market benchmarking. Furthermore, the team is in charge of the coordination and strategic positioning of internal audits. Moreover, it works closely with the CFO on strategic topics and on various day-to-day duties in the Finance office. 




Job Purpose/Role

Together with the senior leadership team within Finance, you successfully drive, coordinate and manage the global Finance transformation of ARE. You proactively steer transformation initiatives and ensure an efficient change management process. You prepare and present in workshops, progress reviews, sponsor meetings, steering committees and board meetings. Furthermore, you liaise closely with senior management stakeholder on preparation and evolvement of projects, mediate conflicts and solve issues. In this role you also support the CFO on his day-to-day duties, such as the preparation of presentations for meetings and conferences. Also, you will coordinate internal audit activities, the follow up on the remediation of findings and the definition of the strategic annual audit program.



Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Advanced graduate degree and excellent academic record (e.g., Master, MBA, PhD, etc.)
  • 3-5 years of prior industry/consulting experience, preferably in finance, controlling or audit
  • Highest proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Strategic thinking and ability to learn quickly
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and drive results in a highly demanding and flexible environment where short notice requests and changes in priority are common
  • Refined presentation and communication skills (written and oral); ability to deliver documents and presentations of highest quality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage projects and to drive processes in a changing environment of a global organization


Appreciated / Beneficial

  • Previous professional experience in audit or business transformations or real estate industry
  • Proficiency in German and/or French
  • Understanding of various real-estate-specific business models and key dynamics in finance and operations
  • Experience in steering and monitoring external consultants
