As an Actuary (f/m/d) you will strengthen our team of actuaries with your experience in data-driven problem solving and actuarial mathematics. As an experienced actuary, you use your knowledge to develop and provide innovative, high-quality solutions for various companies and countries.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • With your know-how and expertise in the health insurance market, you analyze client and claims data, subjectivity effects, cost trends and medical risk factors. 
  • You develop and optimize pricing prediction models for national and international health products.
  • You are able to evaluate and derive best fitting statistical models for an underlying data challenge including their implementation.  
  • You discuss actuarial issues that go beyond existing solutions with management and project partners in order to develop and implement innovative approaches. 
  • You work with actuaries from other Allianz companies across the globe on their product portfolios.
  • You support in global product development guidelines and product transition towards a unified product design approach across Allianz (Allianz Customer Model).  

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience 

  • You have successfully completed a university degree in (business) mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science or a comparable qualification. 
  • You have completed or advanced training as an actuary (DAV) or another actuarial association recognized by the International Actuarial Association (IAA). 
  • You have many years of relevant experience as an actuary, preferably in the field of health insurance, property insurance or reinsurance.
  • Sound user knowledge in data analysis, modeling and programming in R or Python, SQL is an advantage. 
  • You already had responsibility for topics in cross-functional projects and have very good analytical and conceptual skills. 
  • Confident communication skills (written and verbal) in German and English and the ability to interact effectively.
