We are looking for an HR Business Partner for our London office! The role is responsible for providing HR consultancy and advice to managers within the organization in the areas listed below and by facilitating the execution of HR solutions that support the growth of the business and its overall strategy. Additionally, this position will implement global and/or local practices and processes, help resolve strategic business issues, promote AllianzGI transformation and culture, and embed the AllianzGI values while liaising with Lead HRBPs, Country Leads, HRBPs, and CoEs on shared initiatives as applicable.

 

 

Roles/Responsibilities

 

Employee Relations

  • Acts as point of contact for HR related inquiries or issues
  • Assists management and Lead HRBPs with appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
  • Conducts investigations into employee complaints and/or concerns as requested
  • Provides direction and support to managers and employees concerning all work-related issues
  • Works with internal & external counsels as needed

 

Talent Acquisition

  • Partners with Talent Acquisition in devising hiring strategies, including internal mobility, and guiding hiring managers through the hiring process
  • Works with Compensation and Benefits to benchmark positions on compensation related topics
  • Safeguards approvals for requisitions are accurately obtained
  • Conducts interviews and advises the business on their hiring decisions
  • Coordinates and prepares offers and respective documentations in conjunction with HR Operations and Talent Acquisition
  • Ensures new joiners background checks are properly conducted

 

Talent Management & Retention and Engagement

  • Strategizes with the business to retain talents
  • Assists and advises business in talent discussions and succession planning
  • Works in conjunction with Learning & Development to promote and recommend learning and developmental opportunities
  • Conducts exit interviews and feedbacks to the business
  • Analyses function/team engagement and advises the business on ways to improve

 

Performance Management

  • Provides coaching/counselling for management and employees
  • Provides training on Performance Management principals and the Performance Management System (SuccessFactors) as needed
  • Audits Performance Management process and ensures high level of completion

 

HR Compliance

  • Stays ahead of latest HR industry trends and developments
  • Recommends and reviews new policies and approaches as needed
  • Advises employees and management on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs and procedures
  • In conjunction with respective Country Lead, ensures the location is in compliance with all existing governmental and labor requirements
  • Protects the interest of employees and the company in accordance with the Employee Handbook, laws, and regulations

 

Mobility

  • Partners with Tax and Mobility, and Allianz Group Mobility to supervise and coordinate visa and immigration processes, and global mobility cases (short-term / long-term assignments, and permanent or temporary transfers) with detailed attention to tax implications
  • Ensures all immigration requirements are met prior to employment and thereafter

 

 

Memberships/Other Key Relationships

 

  • Works closely with Lead HRBPs, Country Leads, HRBPs, and CoEs on shared initiatives as applicable. Works closely with HR Operations, and HR Systems and Data team to ensure all electronic records in HR systems are complete and accurate.

 

 

Experience/Qualifications and Skills

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and 4 years OR minimum 6 years (in lieu of degree) of multifaceted experience in all areas of the HR value chain and employee lifecycle
  • Knowledge and experience of UK employment law is required
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, integrity, dealing with ambiguity, and performing under pressure
  • 3-4 years HRBP experience
  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent digital literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP HCM, SuccessFactors desirable

 

Preferred:

  • Finance or Asset Management industry experience advantageous, as is experience operating in a global, agile environment
