Based in London as part of the Energy and Construction Underwriting team and reporting to the department’s manager, you will be responsible for data management within the scope of a specific project. 

If you have an interest in the Corporate and Speciality Insurance sector and are skilled at Excel, this is a great opportunity to gain a first insight into our market. 

 

In this role you will..... 

  • Extract data from system files, in accordance with the instructions given 

  • Enter the data into a database, with precision, correcting any mistakes and alerting colleagues to any anomalies 

  • Interact with AGCS colleagues in different teams as required 

  • Support the manager and the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as they evaluate and underwrite Energy & Construction cover for our multinational clients 

 

To be successful in the role you will: 

  • Have a first experience in an office context, ideally in financial services 

  • Be at ease with Excel and Microsoft office 

  • Have an eye for detail and enjoy data and figures 

  • Work well autonomously, while being able to ask questions and escalate issues as needed 

  • Be a great team player, keen to learn and offer support with a proactive flexible attitude 

  • Ideally you have an interest in Corporate & Specialty Insurance and are familiar with the insurance cycle
