Job Purpose/Role 


Based in London and reporting directly to the Regional Head of Distribution, you will be responsible for growing the AGCS portfolio through your assigned panel of brokers. Through pipelining and relationship management you will facilitate growth in the global corporate and specialty insurance sector  across multiple product lines through your assigned Broker panel. You will be the focal point for insights into your Brokers and the wider London Market and provide communication on AGCS risk appetite and offering to our broking partners.




In this role you will…

•    Successfully increase AGCS "Size of Global Broker Wallet", meeting New/Upsell and Cross Sell targets as per local sales plan for your global brokers
•    Achieve retention ratio as per global broker sales plan for your allocated brokers            
•    Own the stakeholder management of your Broker panel and strengthen the business relationships with key brokering partners
•    Schedule and participate in regular development meetings and capability pitches in order to actively manage the pipeline of renewals and new business prospects,
•    Facilitate broker’s understanding of AGCS underwriting appetites and capabilities and act as point of access to AGCS for broker enquiries
•    Drive broker relationship mapping to increase AGCS profile and promote AGCS as preferred insurer amongst key broker partners
•    Effectively manage broker administration and broker file maintenance (including managing broker records) as well as broker administration process. Manage all broker matters related to the AGCS sales IT platform (Salesforce).   
•    Achieve Client Service Model targets for broker managed accounts by being the accountable partner for external delivery
•    Contribute towards the planning and hosting of broker hospitality events, 
•    Proactively engage in dialogue with brokers to identify and deliver Upsell and Cross Sell opportunities
•    Effective pipeline management (renewals and new business prospects)
•    Monitor and control local adherence to commission tables 
•    Improve submission and quote ratio of agreed broker managed target list        
•    Regular update of broker accounts, bottom-up planning of broker accounts, local implementation of broker segmentation
•    Through regular dialogue with designated Lines Of Business manage relationship with internal Lines of Business to enhance AGCS offering to key broking partners Support other Distribution initiatives as appropriate 

To be successful in the role:


You will have…


•    Successful track record of prospecting and winning new clients in the industrial / specialty insurance segment, as well as experience with International Program Business
•    Demonstrated experience of fostering long term, profitable relationships in broker and/or insurer and/or client organisations
•    Proven track record of Underwriting, Client Management or Development role in industrial / specialty insurance business. Robust knowledge in various Lines of Business
•    Experience of delivering in an analytical role (sales environment, controlling roles or similar).

•    Strong communication skills
•    The ability to implement tools and methodologies to develop market, competitor, and client insight
