The Cyber Center of Competence (CoC) for the Allianz Group is embedded within Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), the Group’s provider of corporate and specialty lines of business, which has been offering tailored IT and cyber insurance solutions for international businesses for over a decade. 

The Center of Competence has been mandated by Allianz Group to define the Cyber insurance and services strategy, set the foundations and governance for the segment, and steer profitable growth for Cyber throughout the global organisation.

Based in London or Munich and reporting directly to the Global Head of Cyber, you will be the central point of contact for the 36 Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) engaging with the CoC.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will…

  • Act as key contact for Allianz P/C entities (OEs) worldwide to share guidance on Cyber business strategy and implementation in SME and MidCorp segment worldwide
  • Actively engage in SME/MidCorp Cyber product development and services along the cyber value chain
  • Identify common trends and suggest strategic initiatives for OE cyber business development
  • Manage communication, data exchange, reporting and alignment between the CoC and OEs, establishing regular exchange of best practice
  • Respond to OE requests, referrals and support local business initiatives with guidance to secure high technical standards for profitability
  • Develop, maintain and regularly update an intranet knowledge database for OEs
  • Secure completeness of quarterly reports from OEs and aggregate information for Allianz Group reporting
  • Build and maintain a strong cyber expert network across different functions within Allianz Group securing transparent and effective collaboration

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Track record of solid experience in SME and Mid Market underwriting in Cyber,
  • Good understanding of the Cyber insurance product offering and SME/MidCorp market expectations in view of cyber threat dynamics
  • Excellent networker, at ease forming and maintaining relationships internationally and at varying levels of seniority
  • Ability to project manage multiple stakeholders and track progress
  • At ease operating in a global matrix organisation, working in a diverse and geographically dispersed team
  • You support innovation and keep abreast of new developments in technology and systems
