Job Purpose/Role 

 

The role is designated to support Portfolio Monitoring & Steering team within CUO Marine.  This embraces portfolio analysis and the development of new underwriting tools to steer the global LoB strategy towards sustainability and profitable growth. 

 

Working in the data and analytics team, you will help drive process efficiency and data quality improvements ensuring better analyses for portfolio monitoring and steering.

 

Responsibilities

 

In this role you will…


•    Take full ownership of the data quality, report development and delivery
•    Provide regular reporting and analyses including documentation, communication and explanation of results, to assist management with the active steering of the portfolio
•    Perform ad-hoc analyses and develop ad-hoc reports as the need arises
•    Support the team in developing and maintaining portfolio steering processes and tools
•    Support quarterly rate monitoring process including facility
•    Support maintenance and further development of APTs in close cooperation with CUO Marine Technical Office and Global Pricing
•    Actively support LoB specific projects and task forces
•    Successfully collaborate with multiple departments within AGCS

 

To be successful in the role:

 

You will have…


•    Previous general insurance work experience is not required, although current work experience is an advantage (preferably at least 1 to 5 years of work experience)
•    Strong computer skills, particularly Excel & VBA (knowledge in database applications is an advantage)
•    Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills

•    Ability to build strong working relationships 
•    Ability to work with teams remotely
