Underwrite life insurance risk in accordance to the concurred authority; ensure meeting personal KPI and work as a team to meet departments and company’s vision.




  • Underwrite and counter sign life insurance risks up to the concurred authority.
  • Work with immediate superiors and other managers to ensure personal KPI and departments KPI are met, this includes:

Daily personal productivity is met

Work with other team members to ensure overall department turnaround time are met

  • To follow quality underwriting practice which includes prudent, competitive and consistent underwriting decision, follow the set guidelines (internal and reinsurer manuals); adhere to legal and compliance requirements, company and regional underwriting policy.
  • Initiate and foster good working relationship with the Sales Team and agents.
  • Support initiative and project that are initiated from Group to ensure that we are align with Group and company direction.
  • Any other duties as and when deemed necessary.




  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of working experience in underwriting for life insurance or related field.
  • Team player, good interpersonal and communications skills
