In this role, you will be responsible for regional as well as global processes and contribute to the maturing of our Security organization with a focus on Security Architecture.

In line with the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape, Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) is continuing to invest in our Information Security capabilities. As part of this, we are looking to recruit an Information Security Specialist to support our Security Architecture capability in this complex but exciting environment.

What you do:

The position requires experience across Information Security processes, security architectures and technologies. Responsibilities include:

• Support the continuous development and improvement of our global Information Security programme (including frameworks, processes, and tool sets).

• Identification and management of application and infrastructure security risks by serving as security point of contact during project and demand processes.

• Advisory on and review of IT architectures to reduce our attack surface based on best-practises, regulatory and additional internal requirements.

• Identification and support of global, regional and local business needs as well as objectives with a particular emphasis on end-to-end process coverage. This includes aspects of threat modelling to identify our greatest risks and support our business partners in protecting our information assets.

• Support innovation initiatives as Security subject matter expert.

• Work closely with a distributed team of Information Security and Cybersecurity professionals in Asia and Europe.

What you bring:

You have a keen interest in Information Security and Cybersecurity for a global organisation. The ideal candidate will have relevant skills and experience encompassing:

• Deep expertise and proven experience in Information Security Management, including frameworks, operating models, risk assessments, programme management, and cybersecurity operations.

• Experience identifying Security risks in the areas of cloud, AI and/or cryptography solutions, including the advisory on possible mitigating measures and architectures.

• Hands-on experience in developing solutions, such as actionable guidelines and operating procedures on the basis of best-practises, business needs and regulatory requirements.

• Proven track record in working with diverse and distributed global teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills (communicating and reporting sophisticated technical concepts to business and risk partners)

• Experience interacting directly with senior partners (C-Suite, Board and Regulators)

• Specific industry qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA)

• 3-7 years of professional experience in Information Security/Cybersecurity is required

• Experience balancing multiple concurrent projects and priorities communicating and adhering to realistic deadlines

• Proficiency in English, additional language skills are a plus
