Purpose of role

 

Allianz Technology UK is made of Infrastructure, Project Delivery, Security, Workplace and Support Functions.

 

The Head of Workplace role is within the Infrastructure and Security team, reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure & Security.

 

The role will have overall end to end responsibility for delivery of Workplace Change projects, Desktop Support, Telephony, Service Desk, Access functions based across the UK and India in line with the agreed service levels and cost targets.

 

The role be based in Guildford and this role is Hybrid with being in the office 2/3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement group strategy and help align the OE to on board to these new technologies.
  • Ensure teams deliver to a high standard and consistently achieve SLAs and KPIs and fostering a culture of excellent customer service within the teams
  • Drive resolution of business issues and ensure customer satisfaction, quality, cost efficiency, stability and technical performance for services, products and solutions within the area of responsibility
  • Supervise or lead and develop people in accordance with the Allianz People Attributes, leadership values and relevant guidelines
  • Primary customer liaison with business and escalation point for workplace related topics attending Service Review meetings and other relevant customer meetings
  • Leading a program of continuous improvement and optimization of service delivery and organizational transformation within the workplace teams
  • Delivery of required management and customer reports to agreed schedules and quality
  • Supporting the financial targets of the branch through effective cost management, process and technology optimization

 

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong experience in managing in an IT service delivery capacity.
  • Experience managing within a distributed service delivery organization (International desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • High level of proficiency in collaboration, groupware and IT Service Management applications and systems e.g. Service Now 
  • Demonstrable experience in driving transformation within an organization
  • Competence to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and to cooperate with a diverse internal and external audience
  • Ability to carry out tasks independently in dynamic situations
  • Experience in workplace transformation in a large corporate including moving to cloud services, e.g. MS Office 365
