This is a great opportunity for a process driven individual, who through systematic working can achieve key deadlines and deliver high quality customer service.  Your key targets will be to fully and accurately fulfil the requests, in conjunction with the supporting team in India, Data Protection Coordinators and DSAR contacts within each business area, the Privacy & Data Protection team and an external stakeholder.

You will be part of a great team offering support and an opportunity to develop. To ensure the highest degree of customer service this role falls under an umbrella of 3 teams, where cross training and learning over all areas will give you a greater understanding of process and the scope to be part of the wider team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an interest and basic understanding of regulatory principles and their practical application through procedure and process.  

Whilst this is a 12 month secondment, there is the potential for extension depending on workload factors.

 

Key accountabilities:

Effectively and efficiently handle (and coordinate) Rights requests
Identify and interpret requirements, with a view to resolving any underlying issues for the Data Subject
Build and maintain effective and positive relationships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers and team
Take individual ownership for workflow and prioritisation decisions, reacting quickly and responding positively to changing needs, whilst ensuring regulatory and internal timescales are adhered to
Ensure own regulatory compliance in relation to the industry, internal policies/procedures and personal obligations.


Skills & Experience:

Technical skills:
• An understanding of data protection and GDPR
• An ability to work within regulated policies
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and experienced to a base level of Excel.
