Are you excited about website visitor experience and creating engaging content?

As our digital content editor you’ll be managing the Allianz UK website and supporting the digital and product marketing teams with the building and generation of engaging digital content.

You’ll lead the transformation of our website, increasing content quality, driving SEO and making the site simple and accessible for our customers.

You’ll be working as part of the brand team which looks after the Allianz brand, our partnerships with England Rugby, the Olympics and Paralympic Movements and FormulaE as well as our social media channels. This exciting role will support other marketing  teams providing you the opportunity to learn and develop your wider knowledge and skills. You’ll also have opportunities to work with our global team in Munich and other Allianz companies around the world.

 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • The development and delivery of our digital strategy which provides a first class website to our insurance broker audience
  • Leading the creation and development of content plans for allianz.co.uk. Responsible for writing and publishing regular, high quality content which maximises search visibility, visitor experience and tone of voice
  • Collaborating with other teams to create online content for product campaigns, working alongside stakeholders and advising on best practice
  • Planning and management of section homepages so they are regularly updated to feature the latest content and news, tailored to our different audiences
  • Owning the web optimisation programme, auditing and optimising existing content on an ongoing basis
  • Producing of reporting and insight to refine our strategy and improve the website performance
  • Leading on website compliance process ensuring all content is up-to-date and reviewed at determined frequencies

 

Skills:

  • Able to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, working to deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Very high standards of written English and outstanding copywriting skills with the ability to flex tone of voice across multiple channels
  • Experience in  managing web content as well as content management and analytics systems (preferably Adobe Experience Cloud Suite)
  • A keen interest in digital, marketing and branding

 

Experience:

  • Proven digital experience
  • Understanding of SEO best practice
  • UX design experience desirable
  • Knowledge of Agile development approach desirable

 

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level and/or CIM qualification – or equivalent experience
