We are currently searching for a Strategic Procurement Officer who will be responsible for the global strategy and relationship management of the Professional Services category.

 

Within this role, you will develop relevant category strategies in collaboration with respective stakeholders, convert these strategies into action plans, and drive the execution of objectives aligned with business and company goals.

 

This role will be based in Frankfurt.
 
What you will do 
 

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for the Professional Services (External Workforce) category, contributing to our objectives
  • Improve and extend the current value chain, including systems and contract negotiations, as well as relationship management with our major suppliers
  • Conduct sourcing activities, including but not limited to: Spend analysis, benchmarking, supply market analysis, vendor analysis, RFX building, negotiations, baseline analysis, contracting, building business cases
  • Proactively develop and drive cost reduction initiatives to meet the company targets and identify best solutions to provide long-term value to the business
  • Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including identification, onboarding, performance measurement, (strategic) development, relationship-management, offboarding 
  • Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) objectives are met by taking an active role in service delivery and continuous improvement 
  • Optimize supplier portfolio
  • See yourself as a key account manager delivering high value-adding services to our internal clients, and act as the first point of contact for various internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure the reporting of projects results and communication at all levels by means of a vendor management system 

 

What you bring 
 

  • Experience in strategic buying, developing sourcing category strategies, and executing complex transactions in the Professional Services and External Workforce category areas
  • Experience in the temporary labour, service level, and/or customer service industries
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of negotiating cost savings from high volume deals
  • Ability to analyse markets and gather intelligence regarding market conditions and supply/demand drivers 
  • Strong relationship-management skills and proven track record in being able to strategically advise and drive internal business clients and their strategies
  • Solid awareness / understanding of market trends and how to apply these trends to drive impactful sourcing strategies relevant to the Professional services space
  • Confirmed experience of the end-to-end procurement process management
  • Possess data entry, analytical, and organizational skills as well as technical proficiency (e.g., MS Office, internet, VMS tools).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Legal, Finance, HR, or relevant subject
  • Required languages - written and spoken German and English
