We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Intern (f/m/d). This full-time position will be based in our Frankfurt office for 6 - 9 months, with a planned start in mid-January 2025.
What you will do
You will be part of the Investment & Operations Change team with colleagues based in Frankfurt, Munich, London, Paris, Luxembourg, and Milan. You will be based in Frankfurt and support our project managers on following topics:
- Analyze our existing service offering, identify improvement ideas and possible options for a future target model.
- Identify automation potential along our Investment & Operations value chain and design as well as implement central platform solutions to increase the degree of automation.
- Analyze the impact of asset management regulatory changes to AllianzGI and design as well as implement required measures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Process operational tasks to support investment product / investment fund lifecycle events such as product launches, mergers, transfers, closures, and other life cycle events related to brokers or service providers.
- Work closely together with Project Managers to support them on projects. Take over your own tasks within projects under your own responsibility.
- Support our department managers on strategic initiatives aiming at improving the quality and efficiency of the Investment & Operations Change Team internal procedures.
- Create and document workflows, processes, and presentations. Support regular project reporting processes incl. project pipeline management, resource, and capacity management.
- Support IT applications owned by the team, capture user requirements. Manage issues and provide fixes and solutions.
We are looking to expand our team with a highly motivated intern with a creative mind and a willingness to explore new challenges.
What you bring
- You are currently enrolled as a Bachelor or Master student in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science.
- You have a first internship / work experience in the financial industry.
- You have very good communication skills, a strong written and verbal command of English. German is nice to have, but not mandatory.
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have very strong MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- You have some knowledge of IT programming languages (e.g. Python)
- A valid visa incl. work permit (for foreign students) and academic enrolment until end of contract is mandatory.
