We are searching for you! We are hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Information Security Architect (f/m/d). The position is based in our office in Frankfurt.

Follow the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape, Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) is continuing to invest in our Information Security capabilities. As part of this, we are looking to recruit an Information Security Specialist to support our Security Architecture capability in this complex but exciting environment.

You will be part of our global Information Security team and reporting to the Head of Information Security, you will be responsible for regional and global processes and contribute to the maturing of our Security organization with a focus on Security Architecture.

What you will do

You will be exposed to topics across various information security processes, security architectures and technologies. Responsibilities include:

• Support of the continuous development and improvement of our global information security programme (including frameworks, processes, and tool sets)
• Identification and management of application and infrastructure security risks by serving as security contact during project and demand processes
• Advisory on and review of IT architectures to reduce our attack surface based on best-practises, regulatory and additional internal requirements
• Identification and support of global, regional and local business needs and objectives with Security expertise and an emphasis on end-to-end process coverage. This includes aspects of threat modelling to identify our greatest risks and support our business partners in protecting our information assets
• Support of innovation initiatives as Security subject matter expert
• Work with a distributed team of Information Security and Cybersecurity professionals in Asia and Europe

What you bring

You have interest in Information Security and Cybersecurity for a global organisation. You will have relevant skills and experience encompassing:

• Deep expertise in Information Security Management, including frameworks, operating models, risk assessments, programme management, and cybersecurity operations
• Experience identifying of security risks in Cloud, AI and/or cryptography solutions, including the advisory on possible architectures and mitigating measures
• Hands-on experience in developing practical solutions and processes, such as relevant guidelines and operating procedures on the basis of best-practises, business needs and regulatory requirements
• Track record in working with diverse and distributed global teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills (communicating and reporting technical concepts to business and risk partners)
• Experience working directly with senior partners (C-Suite, Board and Regulators)
• Specific industry qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP)
• Experience balancing multiple concurrent projects and priorities communicating and adhering to realistic deadlines
• Proficiency in English, additional language skills are a plus
