We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented IT Business Analyst - Marketing Technology (f/m/d). The position is based in our Frankfurt office.

 

As part of the Change & Delivery function, the Marketing Technology team caters to the technology needs of the Marketing colleagues. From websites and email marketing through handling the document lifecycle up to Marketing Analytics, we advise, discuss, conceptualize, analyze, implement, test, roll out & maintain technologies and solutions that support the Marketing processes around the globe. We are Marketing’s consultants and trusted partners in all things technological, and we need YOU to complement our team!

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with the business to identify and propose solutions for business needs
  • Ensure fit of the proposed solutions with both the business requirements and the group / corporate governance and standards
  • Coordinate and prepare functional and non-functional requirements specifications jointly with the business owners
  • Write conceptual specifications and application design documents, based on the user requirements
  • Align with architects, integrators, and developers to ensure that the technical specifications meet the requirements
  • Perform pre-acceptance testing, and support integration tests as well as user acceptance tests
  • Support production rollouts through communication and coordination with the responsible departments and suppliers
  • Regularly align with Infrastructure Operations and Production Services to facilitate knowledge transfer and smooth production operations
  • Handle external software vendors and internal clients
  • Support users in their day-to-day application use, including configuration of business applications

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience:

 

  • Relevant Information Technology degree or related field of study or ideally 5 years of work experience
  • Business analysis experience in major IT projects
  • Proven strong analytical skills and client focus
  • Ability to promote ideas and concepts with stakeholders from various functions and seniority levels
  • Ability to describe complex systems and processes clearly and succinctly
  • Strong vendor communication and management skills
  • Experience in Marketing related digital ecosystems, with a focus on the content and document value chain from planning and production to document distribution
  • Experience with further Distribution & Marketing systems such as DXM (Sitecore) and CRM (Salesforce) highly desirable
  • Experience and motivation to introduce best practices from other industries into the specific requirements of a financial services institution
  • Experience working in agile projects & teams (SCRUM)
  • Knowledge in project management is a plus
  • Proficiency in English and German (written and spoken)

 

Technology used in the Marketing space

  • 3-tier on premise architectures as well as SaaS-Solutions
  • Relational databases (MS-SQL Server) and Azure Data Lake
  • Experience with DevOps is an advantage
