We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Head of Finance Technology (f/m/d). The position is based in our Frankfurt office.

As Head of Finance Technology, you will be responsible for the Finance system landscape, data governance, Enterprise Architecture, and related processes.  You will lead a team of Finance Technology professionals and have day-to-day responsibility for managing a large outsourced IT function. Relocation support may be made available for new employees not presently residing in Frankfurt.

You will work closely with our application vendors, outsource providers, other service providers, Finance colleagues, and the wider business to:

• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of key applications and processes
• Deliver continuous improvement through change and project management
• Resolve overall Finance Technology strategy and opportunities for innovation / transformation

Key responsibilities:

• Ownership of a range of systems consistent with a leading Finance function, including SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, Beeline VMS
• Overall management of IT outsourcing relationship, including co-ordination, mentor and challenge
• Act as the data model authority for the SAP BW data model
• Act as the Finance Data Steward and represent Finance in the AllianzGI Data Steward Forum
• Act as Finance representative for AllianzGI IT Enterprise Architecture and provide business requirements for Enterprise Architectural decisions
• Define and craft overall Finance Technology strategy, including opportunities for innovation
• Determine Finance Technology change book, with focus on simplification and standardisation
• Initiate and deliver improvements in close collaboration with the Finance Outsourcing providers, the global and regional Finance teams and other stakeholders
• Improvement of reporting, forecasting and analysis capabilities with the SAP BI and PowerBI suites
• Develop and maintain the global harmonized Finance data structure in close cooperation with Finance Data Champions
• Project management for IT-related Finance projects

Key requirements/skills/experience:

• University degree and equivalent corporate experience
• Ideally at least 8+ years of meaningful professional experience, including experience of Finance
• Good understanding of the Asset Management industry
• Strong people leadership skills and experience
• Strong project-management experience
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with Finance and/or Procurement systems, e.g. SAP ERP, BW, Ariba, Concur
• Experience in working in an outsourcing set-up is a plus
• Ability to adapt and respond to challenging / fast-paced situations
• Proficiency in English. Additional German language skills would be helpful
