We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Business Analyst Investment Services (f/m/d). This position will be based in our Frankfurt office or alternatively in our Paris office.

 

Technology plays a crucial role in the success of our business. We are working on a series of global change initiatives driving towards unifying and harmonizing the technology landscape. In this context we are searching for our Investment Services team a Senior Business Analyst to support the Global Trading System (Bloomberg AIM) and other Front Office applications such as thinkFolio. The successful candidate is an inspiring client-centric IT professional with a good understanding of Finance and Asset Management requirements and has experience in business analysis, preferably in an international project driven environment and a solid background on investment data. You will contribute to the efficiency, productivity and success of AGI.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support the team with a focus on Bloomberg AIM, Markit thinkFolio and coordinated platforms to ensure efficient service quality
  • Work with fixed income portfolio managers on supporting the front office system environment
  • Ensure daily business-as-usual (BAU) support
  • Support new business activities such as future onboarding of new clients, investment products and ensure that business requirements are covered front-to-back
  • Understand and capture business requirements from Portfolio Managers, Trading and Operations. Then transform the requirements in to technical specifications
  • Drive forward simplification and optimization of front-office related workflows considering non-functional and regulatory requirements as well the future technology architecture
  • Coordinate and prioritize issue/change lists and ensure accurate administration and configuration of front-office applications
  • Vendor management: Track incidents, negotiate change requests, and advance issues

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

 

  • University degree in Computer Science/Math/Science/Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent
  • Ideally 2+ years work experience in the financial industry
  • Solid Understanding of Bloomberg Asset & Investment Manager (AIM) and/or Markit thinkFolio
  • Investment process and financial instruments knowledge as well as previous exposure to portfolio managers, traders or risk analysts
  • Broad understanding of data models and SQL knowledge
  • Affinity to investment data, especially transaction data related to trading
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, very international and culturally sensitive environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Superb communication skills in English. Additional language skills would be helpful
