We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Compliance Officer – System & Data Architect (f/m/d). The position is based in our Frankfurt office. The position is limited to 12 to 18 months.

 

The Investment Portfolio Compliance (IPC) Guideline Management team is part of the Global Legal & Compliance department. We ensure that regulatory, client and internal investment restrictions for European retail and institutional funds are in compliance. IPC considers itself independent partners to Portfolio Management, Client Services and Product teams to achieve excellence across the entire Investment Compliance process chain. In an ambitious field and fast-moving industry, we aim to improve with each day. Key responsibilities

  • Be responsible and primary focused on the implementation of new functionalities and data points in compliance systems, enabling AllianzGI to meet its growing compliance monitoring requirements
  • Monitor the daily run of the compliance systems and underlying data deliveries
  • Identify, analyze and resolve system issues and data gaps in cooperation with data providers
  • Build innovative solutions for new monitoring requirements, in cooperation with the Guideline Development team, Account Management and Portfolio Management
  • Manage and improve existing processes and data feeds, in an exceedingly faster changing internal and external environment
  • Driving solutions throughout the entire value chain from task identification to final implementation
  • Manage and work with external and internal providers to ensure excellent compliance services
  • Support the development of a global IPC function and work in such environment, incl. continuously improving data feeds, guideline standardization, rule coverage and automatization
  • Participate in projects/ initiatives which aim to enhance processes and systems

 

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Economics, Finance, IT or related subjects, affinity with numbers data, financials & corporate governance
  • Ideally at least 3+ years of relevant experience in investment compliance systems and data within the financial industry
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, in particular UCITS is a plus
  • Preferably 3+ years of relevant experience in automation of data processes and reporting functionalities, applying relevant programming languages like VBA, robotics, Python
  • Deep knowledge of fund, securities and derivatives markets
  • Knowledge of recognized (compliance) systems, such as MIG21, Charles River, Bloomberg, SCD, Thinkfolio etc.
  • Ability to share and explain knowledge and experience in a structured and clear manner
  • Highly independent, precise, analytical, pro-active and goal-oriented working style
  • Passion for the field of Investment Compliance
  • Intrinsic motivation to always deliver excellence and to improve with each day
  • Proficiency in English, further language skills are a plus
