Become the product owner and agile project manager for the implementation of our new institutional client reporting portal. Within your work you will need to work closely with our internal and external partners and apply your technical knowledge to the business requirements. Jointly with the product manager you will decide on priorities and run the product backlog accordingly. This position will be based in our Frankfurt office.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with partners and Product Manager to define the vision of our product as part of a cross-functional team
  • Develop an understanding of the product itself, of the market as well as of our customers with their needs and their demand
  • Communicate with internal and external partners in a clear and comprehensive way
  • Own a clearly prioritized, estimated and well-specified backlog according to the customers' and internal priorities
  • Have a healthy and communicable definition of MVP for new features
  • Coordinate development stages - be a key player throughout each event, including planning, refinement, review and sprint
  • Supervise the product progress and make it transparent to the team and the partners

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

 

  • Ideally 2+ years experience in leading agile projects as a product owner and/or product manager in a digital environment, preferably in the financial industry
  • Distinct passion for solving customer problems through an empathetic, in-depth understanding of their needs and underlying motivations
  • Good understanding of Agile and project management
  • Experience of working successfully with tech teams, building products and features, and using technical resource effectively
  • You relentlessly invent and simplify the product, and you innovate on behalf of our customers
  • Excellent project management skills in complex, diverse and cross functional environments
  • Ability to switch smoothly between big strategic thinking and in-depth analysis and inspection. In terms of data analyses, you demonstrate outstanding and decisive business judgment
  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to understand different audiences (engineering, business, leadership) and to adapt your communication style as needed
  • Highly proficient in English; German is a strong plus
