Job Purpose/Role

The Executive Assistant reports directly to the Chief Technology & Transformation Officer (CTO3) of Asia Pacific, North America, Australia and Asset Mgmt.

 

The role covers the following responsibilities:

  • Provides Executive support to the CTO3, including preparation of relevant board meetings, briefings, presentations and townhalls and managing the day-to-day responsibilities across the multiple regions in scope.
  • Acts as a bridge between the CTO3 and various stakeholders across Allianz Technology and other Allianz Operating Entities.
  • Contributes to the CTO3 regional strategy and implementation.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides Executive support, structuring and prioritizing work and ensuring the highest possible quality of work in collaboration with other entities and functions.
  • Serves as a partner to the assigned CTO3 on relevant strategic and political topics.
  • Acts as an interface to coordinate, communicate and cooperate with other Board Members, Senior Managers, and other relevant stakeholders across all levels within the organization as well as cross-OE as a representative of the CTO3.
  • Responsible to deliver key meetings (e.g. Board Meetings, Management meetings, townhall meetings, business travels) on time, in quality and budget including follow up and taking minutes.
  • Develops decision papers, prepares presentations and speeches for the CTO3, and follows up on them.
  • Participates in and / or leads project work that requires the attention or representation of the CTO3’s office.
  • Manages and handles daily operational tasks including the review of correspondence addressed to the CTO3, research, and preparation of information to conduct briefings etc.
  • On an Ad-hoc basis, take on administrative and organizational tasks.
  • Coordinating and prioritizing agenda management.

 

 

Qualification & Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Strategy/Consulting/CEO Office/Project management areas.
  • Prior experience in the financial industry/ Insurance/ IT or in an international environment is a plus.
  • Degree in business administration, economics, IT or technology related fields. Higher education degree is preferred.
  • High level of reliability, dedication, and commitment.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with confidence to interact with senior management.
  • Works independently with minimal guidance.
  • Team player and holding a high degree of cultural sensitivity in order to act in a multicultural setup comprising a global, regional and local player.
  • Knowledge of the Allianz Group and Allianz Technology set-up and organization is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently and drive results in a highly demanding and flexible environment where short notice requests and changes are frequent.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
