The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the business partner of Midcorp and Entertainment, you will be responsible for driving the performance steering for LoB Entertainment by providing consistent and comprehensive business steering support at the global level and for North America region. Key responsibilities include (a) ensuring consistent translation of business actions into (aspired) financial impacts and (b) ensuring consistent tracking along the execution of such actions as well as (c) facilitating continuous challenging of business actions against overall aspiration.

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

  • Support Business Partner in provide consistent and comprehensive business steering support to Global LoB Head for Entertainment
  • Based on consideration of financial and non-financial metrics, drive consistent challenging and monitoring of business actions in LoB Entertainment against overall aspiration level and facilitate results-oriented business steering discussions on top management level. Ensure tight alignment between Global and Regional actions.
  • Throughout reporting and planning cycle, ensure effective and efficient financial steering of results and value drivers for LoB Entertainment
  • Drive transparent and high-quality reporting, forecasting and planning process, consolidating and aligning global view with contributions from sub-LoBs in the regions.
  • Ensure best-practice sharing within and across functions towards continuous improvements of global standards.
  • Provide consistent and comprehensive business steering support to North America Regional LoB Head for Entertainment

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • 3-5 years of experience communicating results to a variety of stakeholders including senior management
  • Deep understanding of the product portfolio
  • Deep understanding of financial and non-financial value drivers and their impacts on capital and volatility management
  • Ability to drive transparent and high-quality reporting, forecasting, and planning process along financial and non-financial KPIs
  • Proficiency in reporting and planning tools (SAP, APP) as well as MS Office (Excel, Power point), also to push for further simplification and automation
  • Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management (both verbal and in writing)
  • effectively evaluate info from multiple sources to identify business issues; involve stakeholders in the decision making; commit to action after weighing alt solutions against important decision criteria
  • Ability to recognize and deal with disputes in a rational, balanced and effective way
  • In depth experience in reporting & business analysis concepts & requirements of an international portfolio with high volatile segments

 

The annualized base pay range for this role is $92,217 - $156,348.  The annual base salary range represents Chicago and New York market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AGCS total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
