What you do:


The Senior Deskside Client Support Specialist will:


  • Troubleshoot and resolve end user incident escalations
  • Provide project support when needed
  • Provide integration testing and support for print and other components for end to end user requirements.
  • Work across a broad range of technologies and liaise across multiple areas of IT to resolve incidents and requests for users
  • Document systems procedures and training materials
  • Evaluate and test stability of new products and software releases
  • Ensure optimal inventory, and equipment management systems and processes are in place to support operations
  • Manage incident queues including assignment, routing, aging
  • Evaluate top ticket trends and coordinate remediation opportunities
  • Interface with Service Desk to increase FCR opportunities and update CKM documentation as needed
  • Provide adhoc and recurring reporting for operational and governance purposes
  • Manage and close tickets in SNOW queues


A successful candidate will have background in:


  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytic skills
  • Ability to see beyond immediate issues and suggest long-term, proactive solutions
  • Ability to interface with management at all levels, presenting complex technical issues/solution in an understandable way
  • Ability and willingness to “own” a client’s issues until they are fully resolved
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent technical documentation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Vendor management and working multiple-vendor issues to resolution
  • Demonstrated team player, attention to detail, professional demeanor


 What you bring:


  • 5+ years' experience with desktop and virtual computing environments (Citrix)
  • Experience supporting Office 365, One Drive and modern device management
  • Solid Windows 10 administration, setup and troubleshooting in a domain environment
  • Experience with network security, including providing patches, anti-virus software, firewalls and password protection
  • Knowledge of access management
  • Knowledge and ability to provide support for various software packages including  MS Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint), Apple iPhone/iPad, Video Conferencing, Cisco Webex, VPN, Jabber, Citrix Workspace
  • Knowledge to ensure network security policy and standards are implemented and enforced
  • Knowledge and experience with IP Networking components including: Firewalls, Remote Access; VPN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP
