Would you like to join our adventure as an HR Analyst – Performance Management and Mobility, based in our Chicago, IL or O’Fallon, MO offices? Reporting directly to the AVP – Rewards and HR Operations, and as a member of a strong team, you will support Mobility and Performance Management topics regionally.
Role Purpose:
- Consult the business as well as represent the business to regional HR colleagues
- Act as a subject matter expert regionally, providing support on topics and consulting many HR colleagues regionally.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will…
Regional HR Process Ownership/Steering Implement/execute HR processes regionally, including topics such as:
- Mobility: support domestic and international relocations, provide immigration support in collaboration with outside legal counsel and provide updates to HR and business colleagues
- Performance Management: support of North America process for priority setting, mid-year review cycle, year-end reviews
- Grading: Monitor maintenance process and consult business
- Recognition Program: Oversee management and administration of recognition program, vendor and platform
- Administration and Invoice Management: Provide back-up support to Compensation team
Subject Matter Expert
- Consult regional head of HR, HR business partners, and the business directly (often as 2nd level support)
- Act as a subject matter expert and topic owner regionally
Drive change projects
- Support implementation of project priorities for own area/region
- Define necessary change process for own area/region
- Drive change initiatives (process, tools improvement/creation)
Governance, Policies and guidelines
- Define/improve regional processes, tools and guidelines in line with global standards/policies
Marketing & Communication
- Define marketing & communication plan and activities for own area/region
- Lead all regional communication initiatives for own area/region
Global HR Team
- Be a part of the global virtual team comprised of local/regional HR colleagues
Required Skills:
- Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in related field preferred
- Knowledge of local/regional employment law, as required for the role
- 1 – 3 years of technical HR experience in area of expertise, preferably in a global organization
- Technical expertise in HR topic area (e.g. Comp/Ben, PM, Learning, Controlling, Grading, Recruiting, etc)
- Experience in large impact project/process/change management
- Project Management: from individual task management to process steps for regional projects
- Experience working in a matrix and virtual team environment supporting multiple locations
- International business experience in at least 2 different markets preferred
- Analytical/Numerical skills: Ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources (e.g., detailed compensation calculations, complex global processes, conflicting info, etc.)
- Negotiation and conflict management: Ability to negotiate, often in difficult situations, and steer discussions to a desired end
- Communication & presentation: Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally, and facilitate discussions/workshops
