We are announcing an opening for the following position in our Budapest Office with home office opportunities:

Junior Data Scientist

What we count on you for:

• You will participate in the analysis and solution of differentiated business problems by the following means:
  • • By leveraging ETL and data-transformation tools or scripts (e.g., SQL, Python), you will merge various internal and external data tables and sources, perform data quality checks, and build up complex data models
    • You will help create analytical solutions that range from designing, developing, and delivering code and models, to exploring meaningful insights, and translating them into actionable recommendations
    • You’ll deal with big data sets across a variety of functions and geographies
    • You will have the opportunity to get in-depth exposure to emerging methodologies and programming languages

What we ask:

• M.Sc or B.Sc in a related field (analysis, actuarial, mathematics, physics etc.) – fresh graduates are welcome
• Knowledge of SQL and Python
• Fluency in Hungarian and English
• Willingness to learn about business processes and how they are translated into analytical tasks
• Solution and process-oriented focus, practical mindset
