Job role

 

Credit Risk Modelling - Support Allianz SE Group Credit Risk Management Team on data validation for credit risk modelling, quality assurance of financial and market data, automation of data quality processes around credit risk data.

 

What you will do

 

 

  • Support the client Allianz SE – Group Credit Risk Management team in various data quality activities for credit risk processes and calculations .
  • Lead monthly data quality assurance of financial and market data that serves as input for the central credit risk processes of the AZ Group.
  • Perform ad-hoc data quality assurance requests on Credit Risk data, including review an correction of subsidiary / parent structures, asset sizes, credit ratings, assignment to correct segments and countries of domicile.
  • Contribute to implementation, review and improvement of automated data quality processes around Credit Risk data.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships externally and internally with colleagues, providing support and insight on risk topics.

You have

 

  • Master’s degree in Finance / Insurance / Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Business Administration 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance/finance area with focus on credit risk management/financial analysis/controlling.
  • In particular an understanding of global capital market structures around credit investments: types of issuers and segments, typical financial instruments, credit ratings.
  • Ability to work with and analyse comprehensive data sets
  • MS Office, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint skills, advanced level in Excel
  • Programming (e.g. R, Python and VBA) as well as Data visualization (e.g. PowerBI) experience is a plus
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
