The Regional Risk Management team is essential to our company's risk and balance sheet management. At Allianz Benelux, you'll work with Property & Casualty, as well as Life & Health insurance across the region. This role offers the chance to influence company strategy by helping senior management balance risk and performance. You'll regularly interact with senior executives, including the CEO & CFO, and participate in major projects. Dive into quantitative analysis of solvency and balance sheet risks with us.

What will you do? 

 

As a Quantitative Risk Manager, you'll work in our Balance Sheet Management squad covering the Benelux region. You'll deal with both life and non-life insurance, Solvency II, and apply your expertise in the context of IFRS9 and 17.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Maintain and enhance the SCR model, including investment strategy parametrization
  • Perform solvency forecasting (Own Funds and SCR)
  • Improve efficiency and automate data and calculation processes
  • Contribute to regulatory quantitative requests
  • Support qualitative and quantitative Climate Change Risk assessments
  • Assist the CRO in solvency sensitivity analyses

You have Master’s degree in Econometrics, Mathematics/Statistics, (Financial) Engineering, Actuarial Sciences, or similar? Check!

A first relevant experience in Finance/Insurance, with exposure to solvency, ALM, and/or Non-Life Actuarial? Check!

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, SQL, or others? Check!

Passion for data, innovation, and becoming an expert in your field? Check!

Fluency in English (oral and written); other languages are a plus (Dutch/French)? Check!

Ability to communicate complex topics clearly? Check!
