To reinforce our Individual Life team in Belgium, Allianz is currently looking for a Manager for the Product Management Individual Life team. You have proven experience in Investment, Pension and Protection products? You’re fluent in English with good knowledge of French and Dutch? As Manager of the team, you will steer a team of Product Managers and Legal/fiscal experts. You will develop new and improve existing Investment, Pension and Protection products on the retail market in Belgium. You will also provide training and exchange technical expertise with other departments and collaborate on the new Life Value Proposition.

We count on you for the following tasks:

• As Manager of the team, you will lead a team of product managers and legal/fiscal experts;
• Develop new and improve existing Investment, Pension and Protection products covering both guaranteed rate and unit-linked products for the retail market in Belgium;
• Steering and analyzing profitability studies of existing and new products, incl. recommendations & follow-up;
• Provide oversight and support the team in research and development of new product or product improvements. Being able to have the helicopter view and dig into the ground when needed;
• Be able to define and monitor relevant KPI’s depending on the activity;
• Be the team captain of the technical life department and interact with other captains as well as the transversal functions under the lead of the value chain owner;
• Act as a contact point for our group centers and other entities and partners depending on the topic, closely aligning with the value chain owner;
• Act as the technical reference person in the relations with our regulators and professional associations. Including a natural curiosity/affinity to interact with our distribution partners.

This role will give you the opportunity to exchange technical expertise with other departments and work on the following topics:

• Develop with the value chain our new term life value proposition
• Develop our revised pension and investment offerings
• Represent Allianz at the Individual Life Technical Commission and drive the topics relevant for Allianz
• Support the value with the deployment of our new IT environment for investments

This is you:

Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Civil Engineering or Economics? Check! A degree in Actuarial Sciences is considered a plus. Fluent in English with good knowledge of the two national languages (Dutch and French)? Check! Know how to use MS Office, SAS, Excel, VBA, Delphi and C++, …? Check! You are a team player as well as someone with excellent communication skills? Check! You do not fear to be challenged and are able to challenge others? Check! You are innovative and methodological?
