This is an exciting opportunity to join Petplan, the UK’s no 1 pet insurer as an Digital Optimisation Executive. We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for digital, experience in digital optimisation for sales, CRO and working with digital development teams. This is a crucial area of our business and welcome the chance for fresh thinking to help us bring to life our growth and change ambitions. 

 

As part of the Petplan ecommerce team, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Work closely with the Digital Analyst & Insights Exec to gather insight from the analytics toolkit (GA, Sessioncam) and use these to inform the change process and testing roadmap
  • Develop connections in other areas of the business to ensure customer insight and other business insight are also a robust part of our change plan
  • Create and deliver an insight led optimisation roadmap to increase conversion of pet and equine online prospects in line with sales targets 
  • Plan and execute successful test & learn strategies using AB/multivariate approaches via Adobe Test & Target platform including measurement
  • Help to lead larger scale UX change projects working with agencies and other stakeholders to deliver design updates and conduct research.
  • Work closely with the sales PO and sales development team in an agile way, to create features and stories that will deliver the changes you identify
  • Support web chat deployment working closely with the operational teams to increase usage, effectiveness of chats and quantify impact on sales conversion
  • Reviewing and improve our use of sales assisting technology e.g. call back, exit intent tools and other plugins
  • Work with the web agency and collaborate with internal teams (IT, UAT, etc) to ensure effective delivery of all optimisation activity
  • Act as digital expert to support the wider marketing team to ensure effective delivery of other online projects

 

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Reasonable and proven experience in a similar role focusing on conversion improvements
  • Experience of working with agile teams and development teams
  • Experience with analytics tools such as GA and Sessioncam (heatmapping or similar)
  • Strong collaboration skills to help manage input from a variety of stakeholders
  • Ideally some experience of webchat
  • Demonstrable experience of using data and other forms of insight to inform change decision making
