Job Purpose

Will be part of the Infrastructure Department, the Database administrators (DBAs) will be the main responsible person to manage the databases under the Allianz Group.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain operational the Database for 24x7x365 operations
• Ability to provide 24x7 on-call operational support for all productions
• Proactively on preventive to ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support on release and deployment related to database activities.
• Creation and maintenance of various database activities related documentation; including support manuals and procedures
• Collaborate with the other teams, e.g. Development/Application Team during the project and after go-live support.

Key requirement

• University degree or comparable higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• Experience on Database Troubleshooting technical issues, Performance Tuning, Database Backup and Recovery, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) and database security in areas of Authentication, Auditing, Authorization, and Encryption
• Exposure to Windows and Linux environments is desired
• Good understanding of core database concepts
• Comfortable working independently and working in a team environment
• Work independently and represent database group in various projects
• Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate the work of others
• Able to deal and handle difficult situations and work under time constraints.
• Understanding of IT support and service management following ITIL Methodology

Desired requirements

• Experience in develop power shell command and bat script or SSH script
• Experience in Agile development life cycle will be advantage
• At least 5 years’ experience building, managing and database operations for · MySQL and MongoDB on Linux platform · Experience building, managing and database operations for MySQL cluster and MongoDB Replica Set or Redis is more advantage
• Experience on Database Troubleshooting technical issues, Performance Tuning, Database Backup and Recovery, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) and database security in areas of Authentication, Auditing, Authorization, and Encryption preferably on MySQL and MongoDB
• Good communication skills, interpersonal, oral, and written in English
