This position holder will take a role in supporting overall budgeting (both life and nonlife insurance) and expenses tracking, monitoring, expenses management and also covered companies' projects, as well as have responsibility to report on monthly/quarterly basis.

Your Day at Allianz Ayudhya

  • Responsible for overall budgeting (both Life & Health and Property & Casualty) and expenses tracking, monitoring, expenses management and also covered companies' projects
  • Prepare monthly expenses report and tracking in variance analysis (actual vs. plan vs. LY) and make recommendations to keep expenses on track as appropriate
  • To be fully on top of the spending, accruals and able to provide estimates of forecasted full year spending to support rolling projections calculations for both L&H and P&C.
  • This include understanding the attributable/non-attributable approach to advise impact to OP.
  •  This also include taking a more prominent role in expense approvals to make sure that the accruals of expense in finance are done appropriately.
  • Work closely with IT Finance control to monitor and control IT related spending both P&L view and cash view
  • Lead annual budget preparation to ensure an alignment with group strategic direction. Continuously improve systems/processes to enable management of expenses needs within the budget.
  • Work closely with various department and management to explore areas for potential business performance improvement including expense saving initiatives.
  • This include advising the management about spending pattern over-time and look into areas of productivity and efficiency as the business grows.
  • Support management team for ad-hoc analysis and projects

Must Have

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in Finance and Accounting field in insurance or banking business

Nice to Have

  • Experience in data collection, manipulation and integration
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence or data visualization techniques and tools
  • Experience using tools for reporting or interpreting data such as Excel advance and SQL
  • Expertise for Planning and Controlling of Budgeting and Accounting
