Job Description


The role of Business Analyst is of crucial importance to Allianz Technology Thailand. The holder of this key role is responsible for providing a high- level interface between our international clients, business leaders, and the team leaders on the ground responsible for delivering complex IT solutions. The core job purpose of the Business Analyst is to analyse and validate the software requirements, ensuring that all the needs of the stakeholders are met and to author extensive software requirements documents that bridge the gap between the needs of the stakeholders and the technical needs to be delivered to the development team. There are several technologies being used at Allianz Technology Thailand, and it is therefore desirable that the candidate has a background in various technologies to effectively bridge the gap and propose solutions. Key Responsibilities


  • Working with clients, stakeholders and/or Product Owners in gathering, clarifying and analyzing business requirements.

  • Clearly communicating software specifications to the Development teams, QA teams, Product Owners and other Stakeholders.

  • Providing detailed business and technical documentation (SRS, BRD and User Stories) and functional designs (Application workflow, Screen mockup and Reports).

  • Working with the QA teams to develop test cases that accurately capture the defined business requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Working with the Project Management teams to ensure that the development meets the established scope and timeline.

  • Providing support during the development, system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

  • Supporting Product Owners in decision making, problem solving, user training and reporting.




  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information Science/ Business Studies/ Management.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as Business Analyst and 1-3 years of experience in Software development (management, design, implementation, system analysis, service/support).
  • Analytically & technically skilled – ability to assess the practicality of a solution, with reference to the business requirements, development efforts, feasibility, scalability and re-usability.
  • Ability to solve problems and propose alternative solutions and workarounds where applicable.
  • Must be self-motivated, self-organized, proactive and have a positive working attitude and capable to work in a team-environment.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication including presentation and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-organized and motived individual.
