At Allianz we are looking for a Security Operations role assorted with local technical support expertise to join our established branch based in Barcelona center (Aragó, 295).  

Security Operations (SecOps) is the seamless collaboration between IT Security and IT Operations to effectively mitigate risk. SecOps team members assume joint responsibility and ownership for any security concerns, ensuring that security is infused into the entire operations cycle.

 

Our local technical support will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, conference systems, and hardware or software concerns coming from our internal colleagues. The function holder need to respond to queries, runs diagnostic programs and determine a solution.

Responsibilities Security Operations:

  • Responsible for Security operations related activities for Allianz Technology Spain branch (Barcelona and Madrid); Vulnerability assessment and disaster recovery testing, continuity planning.
  • Supporting management in developing and maintaining information security policies, coordinate their implementation in the IT and business processes;
  • Coordinate security incident investigation and response and vulnerability management by working closely with the teams providing security services; (e.g. ACDC)
  • Regularly perform security risk assessments and propose mitigating measures as part of cybersecurity plan;
  • Assure implementation of appropriate security trainings for branch employees. Follow up on training completion;
  • Drive security improvements with relevant counterparts;
  • Support IT continuity work such as disaster recovery testing and continuity planning;
  • Raise security awareness by designing, planning, executing and following up related campaigns;
  • Supervise security testing, perform maturity assessments and contribute to other assurance activities such as providing assistance to the internal audits;
  • Assess the implementation, performance and effectiveness of information security, ICT (information and communications technology) security and business continuity and report at all necessary levels.

 

 Responsibilities as a local technical support:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware topics.
  • User support for hardware performance issues. Troubleshooting equipment issues (monitor, keyboard, mouse, Wi-Fi)
  • Video Conference equipment troubleshooting. Verifying daily the functionality of all meeting rooms´ equipment
  • Respond to queries either in person or by e-mail
  • Work closely with other teams to maintain performance of computer systems.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem
  • Walk colleagues through problem-solving process
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Follow up with our internal colleagues to ensure resolution of issues.
  • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in IT or akin sciences.
  • Experience in using GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance), AVM (Asset Vulnerability Management) and SOAR (security orchestration, automation and response)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in security operations roles.
  • Experience working with C-level management layers.
  • Experience in handling MS Outlook.
  • Excellent performance in Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent soft skills.
  • Outstanding speaking and writing skills in English (min. C1-CAE). Intermediate level of German (B2-onwards) will be a plus.
  • Experienced in working in a global international culture.
