The CFO Transformation Office is responsible for the worldwide transformation of the Finance organization within Allianz Technology. We are driving the development and implementation of new innovative IT solutions, ensuring the seamless interaction of all Finance processes and applications. Crucial elements on this journey are the digitalization and automation of Financial value flows and processes. By means of state-of-the-art technologies (e.g. mobile applications, SAP Analytics Cloud etc.) we are putting the company onto the next level of effectiveness and efficiency. 

We are looking for an experienced Finance Project Manager for the “Data Model & Process Transformation” team. 

What role will you play?  

  • Clarification of the technical requirements, design of the solutions in cooperation with the relevant business and IT departments, test and go-live of the solutions 

  • Elaborate and communicating the added value of the solutions created 

  • Support the integration of new branches into our financial IT systems and financial processes 

  • Support in the selection, implementation and go-live of additional software, as well as support in the adaptation and expansion of existing systems 

  • Ensuring the technical and professional finance interfaces in other areas 

  • Automation of processes in our finance department, e.g. integrated financial planning 

  • As a project manager, you will regularly report the status globally to all stakeholders 
     

Requirements  

  • Higher education degree in finance, business administration, economics or equivalent work experience 

  • Analytical thinking and methodological and conceptual skills; ability to connect functional and technical requirements 

  • Change management experience and very good communication skills 

  • Project management expertise (preferably agile projects) in an international and virtual environment 

  • Problem solving skills based on practice and precedent as well as ability to analyze factual information 

  • Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations 

  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage 

  • Experience as Service Controller (Planning, Forecast, Reporting) 

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) in both business and technical context
