What role will you play?
- You are accountable in ensuring cost transparency and reducing the efforts for service owner and the stakeholders impacted
- You actively manage planning and steering processes of a division in BA independently and collectively as a team
- You are responsible for an actual and transparent holistic view especially for budget planning
- You are responsible for the internal cost allocation and monthly analysis “Actuals vs Plan” with comments and forecastt.
- You communicate all the above in a timely manner, providing relevant information and recommendations actively and focused on the specific target group
- You advise and support service owners and IT-management in planning and analyzing their services, projects and cost allocations
- You support in approving business cases
- You ensure financial controlling during the entire lifecycle of a project, e. g. ROI, capitalization, order agreements, shoring, external budget control, time booking in Service Now, pricing and hence revenue charging including non-cap and finance charges
- You need to support in identifying specific topics that may be relevant for decommissioning of a service, asset impairments etc.
- You support and check the approvals for any new hiring globally
- You work closely with colleagues in other finance departments and the support team in nearshore and offshore locations
- You create profitability analyses and ad hoc analyses, as well as other requests independently and conduct alignment meetings on your own
- You are responsible for the preparation of commercial reviews for your portfolio, while ensuring a proper forecasting of the service. It needs to be ensured that the official tools are used for the same
- You are responsible for ensuring P&L commenting at each closing
- You support in improving the financial and affiliated processes
- You support in process improvement activities
- You support and contribute with your expertise in several conceptual topics to further improve the existing IT controlling systems
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in a similar role
- High affinity for technology, at the same good business acumen and strong financial understanding
- Ability to work independently, structured, solution oriented and accurately
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a structured and reliable way, and to work well under time pressure providing high qualitative results
- High flexibility, team skills, reliability, resilience, and organizational talent
- High understanding of complex topics and ability to explain them in a simple and receiver oriented way
- Proven track record of communicating effectively cross functions, cross all levels of hierarchy including top management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as conceptual and implementation experience
- Broad experience in cost analysis, budget planning and other financial methods and techniques
- High ability to challenge status quo and to drive and manage change
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience, with advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills, preferably also ThinkCell
- Strong project management skills with knowledge of agile principles and tools
- Familiar using SAP in day-to-day business
- Strong learning agility on financial processes and new tools
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) in both business and technical context
