Cloud devOps engineer to lead the devOps Retail team, responsible for the automation and operations of world

wide projects using microservices architecture based on containerized and serverless applications hosted in AWS.

You will

• Define automation strategy and its implementation for the projects in the Retail Area.
• Ensure local build and deployment of the Retail assets in the different OEs.
• Design of the automation to adhere to the architecture principles, IT strategy, IT security and all legal and
• regulatory requirements with regard to compliance and data protection.

Your Skills

a) Qualification, Certification and Experiences (education, passed PE, trainings, certificates, special IT

skills, languages etc.)

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or physics or business administration with a focus on IT.
• Well-founded experience (at least 5 years) with public cloud provider services (especially AWS) and
• Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Deep knowledge of AWS EKS and/or AWS serverless services.
• Excellent experience in the application of cloud architectures and IT security principles.

b) Skills and Competencies (functional / technical / methodological / social skills, Allianz competencies)

• Several years of practical experience in operational tasks, development of runtime / container and usage of version control system GIT.
• Confident handling of Linux server operating systems and shell scripting.
• Business fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
• Competence to manage tasks in demanding and unfamiliar situations with problem solving skills based on practice and precedent.
• Ability to cooperate efficiently with clients and different departments as well as willingness to support new team members.
