Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure and document SAP components / SAP system landscapes in accordance with architectural plans, taking into account feasibility and quality.
• Participate in the continuous development of the SAP architecture.
• Technical consultation for the further development of SAP Basis Services.
• Optimize the supported systems and ensure system performance and availability (upgrades, patches for SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java, including Oracle, DB2, ASE and HANA databases).
• Participate in Incident and Problem Management as an expert as needed, and control the Change Management for the supported systems in accordance with the existing processes.
• Participate in various national and international projects including the possibility of (sub-) project management.
• Support cost and investment planning.
• Management of the external providers involved in the SAP environment.
• Monitoring of IT market and technology trends.

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years professional experience in ​​SAP Basis, as well as a broad knowledge of IT processes, methods, tools and architectures.
• Knowledge of one or more of the following areas would be an advantage: SAP HANA and XSA, SDI and SAP@Azure.
• Spoken and written English
• Practical experience in SAP NetWeaver & SAP Portal Technology (ABAP and Java).
• Experience in the operation of complex SAP environments in an international environment.
• Experience in (sub-) project management. Experience in an Agile project management environment would be an advantage.
• Quick comprehension, excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a high degree of willingness to learn, resilience and strong self-motivation.
• Strong critical, conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities.
• Team player with strong analytical skills and goal orientation.
