Job Purpose/Role


BPP is a strategic IT transformation program steered by Allianz Partners and Allianz Technology to support and anchor the results of the joint digital journey of the past years. BPP targets at the re-shaping of the existing IT delivery model between Allianz Technology and Allianz Partners to meet the financial and qualitative requirements (including SLA definitions) of all parties involved, at the same time echoing ongoing internal transformation at Allianz Partners. It aims for a standardization harmonization of the IT products services globally as well as processes.



In this context, we are hiring a Delivery Manager Travel Europe. He/she has end-to-end accountability for delivery and supports the Business Translation Manager (BTM) in building a close working relationship with their Allianz Partners counterparty. In addition, he/she establishes a strong working relationship with the Application Bundle Owners and Capability Towers in the fulfilment of Change service demand. The Delivery Manager Travel Americas is accountable for a pre-defined budget for a specific program / project, the quality acceptance of the related deliverables and KPIs.


Key Responsibilities


  • E2E delivery accountability for CHANGE for a (group of) program/ project(s) within the LoB Travel at agreed budget and quality
  • Ensures LoB Travel client satisfaction with delivered services for Change
  • Works with BTM to ensure appropriate target design
  • Adheres quality gate criteria for deliverable acceptance (handover to RUN)
  • Supports demand forecast planning
  • Reviews and provides feedback to PO and PM on progress and performance
  • Acts as single point of escalation for factories on project delivery
  • Escalates delay, issue on Change project delivery as per the escalation matrix



Key Requirements/Skills/Experience



  • Strong leadership skills
  • Deep technical understanding of owned IT product/service
  • Holistically management approach to ensure globally aligned demand
  • Has e-2-e delivery ownership
  • Responsible for the service/solution design approval (as an element of owned service)
  • Very good knowledge in financial budget management and project accounting
  • Extensive experience with delivery processes and relationship management
  • Strong business / LoB Travel orientation and understanding
  • Higher education degree with technical-economical focus e.g. industrial engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Relevant work experience in managing IT services incl. budget, cost, quality
  • Work experience in an international environment desirable
  • Extensive process and project experience
