Your new role is managed penetration testing of both applications and infrastructure. to lead Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for Allianz Malaysia


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining procedures revolving around application and Identity Access Management (IAM), Endpoint, VAPT security practices.
  • Conduct regular technical cyber security countermeasures analysis to support information security requirements and reporting.
  • Identifying security concerns and raising IT Security Operations Manager/ ISO team for remediation tracking to closure.
  • Work with partners to enhance current security operations tools. Eg: Identity Access Management (IAM), Next Generation Anti-Virus (NGAV), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Data Leakage Prevention (DLP), Mobile Device Management (MDM), VAPT Scanners.
  • Work closely with Security Operations Center (SOC) team and evaluate cyber security trends, patches, updates, incidents pertaining to application and web security domain.
  • Leading, participating and completing various IT Security project implementations and issues when needed.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of IT Security Operations IAM, Endpoint, VAPT technical team.
  • Track and manage IAM, Endpoint and VAPT projects.
  • Conduct regular technical cyber security countermeasures analysis and monthly reporting.
  • Prepare security advisory and monthly security bulletin to project team and business units.
  • Perform periodic vulnerability assessment.
  • Any other duties when deemed necessary.


Key Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 3-4 years in handling and leading Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration (VAPT) process and testing tools. Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) would be an added advantage.
  • Strong technical acumen in IT with clear understanding of security policies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks and issues.
