Job Responsibilities:

  • As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will serve as facilitator for Agile teams working for the AVC Service. The Agile Delivery Lead will work closely with the Product Owner and the Agile teams. You must have solid understanding of the methodology.
  • Seek opportunities to continuously improve the quality of Allianz Technology's (IT) services and processes.
  • Initiate and conduct quality reviews and quality initiatives for Allianz Technology for e.g. processes, projects, services and tooling.
  • Interact with stakeholders (e.g. senior managers, service responsible and customer representatives) and create transparency in regard to the measured and perceived quality of (IT) services, projects and processes.
  • Ensure regular analysis and reporting and advise on all quality and performance related issues and needs.
  • Facilitate the Scrum planning, task allocation, tracking and reporting from the team. Empower staff, encourage teamwork and co-operation. Ensure the project team is working towards a common goal/outcome. Any blockers issues are addressed promptly. Team members are aware of tasks at all times.
  • Build and maintain effective communication and relationships with all stakeholders. Hold Team meetings and stand ups as appropriate. Formal and informal communication with Engineering team. Communications to business/end users. Build effective relationships with other IT teams /staff.


Job Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor degree in business administration, mathematics, IT, economics or comparable technical education.
  • Process and project management and ITIL training and / or certification desirable.
  • Relevant work experience in process management, lean management, (IT) consulting or customer-centric service optimization.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record in delivering projects which incorporate a significant systems component. Experience in Agile development of projects - Scrum in particular. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence to drive and make decisions.
  • Detailed knowledge of AVC and Workplace services.
  • Demonstrate high end communication skills, using a variety of formal and informal means. Exercise sound judgement in all communications, written, verbal, formal and informal. Report progress and raise issues appropriately. Effective presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations.
  • Problem solving skills based on practice and precedent as well as having the ability to analyse factual information.
  • Agile training and certification, exposure to Agile in a previous role.
