Job Purpose:

As the Regional IT Governance Lead, he / she is responsible for the alignment of the AZAP IT Community with Allianz Asia Pacific (AZAP) Business Strategy and Group IT guidance.  Key Governance framework, a significant part of the Regional IT Operating Model, includes development of Global IT Dashboard & Key IT Initiatives Dashboard, execution of regional CIO Community meet and IT SteerBoards. This is a critical and strategic role in enhancing and maturing of the Governance framework in Allianz Asia Pacific IT Community.  The Regional IT Governance Lead will also participate in the Planning Dialogue exercise of AZAP and its Operating Entities, enhancing the IT Economics governance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Regional IT Governance Lead is primarily responsible for 
- Capturing of the Global IT Dashboard, in alignment with AZAP, Operating Entities (OE) and Group H4
- Generation of the AZAP Key IT Initiatives Dashboard, facilitating the steering of the OEs IT Community
- Development of AZAP and OE IT Strategy, in line with Group Governance framework
- Governance of the execution of the IT Steerboards in the OEs
- Planning and executing the regular Regional CIO Community meet, to enhance regional learning across the IT Community

 

Led by the Regional IT Finance Lead, the Regional IT Governance Lead will also participate in the Planning Dialougue (PD) exercise of AZAP and its Operating Entities, enhancing the IT Economics governance.  Activities include, but not limiting to,
- PD IT Reporting (OEs and AZAP) quality and submission
- Formulaton of regional key Initiatives and focus areas, aligning with AZAP Strategy  
- Measurement of the business case and benefits of the key initiatives put forth by the OEs
 

Main Requirements:

  • A Good University Degree
  • 10 - 15 years of IT, Business Management, Consulting area, with 3 - 5 years in the Business Management / IT Governance focus
  • Insurance / Financial Institution prior experience strongly preferred
  • Good Communication skill
  • Strong organisation skill
  • Stakeholder Management (executive level) experience, preferred
  • Good knowledge on IT Finance or Project Management preferred
  • A Strong Team Player
  • Prior Regional / Global governance experience a plus
  • PMP (or any PMI certification) certified a plus
  • IT Transformation experience a plus
  • Strong in MS Office suite
