    In this role, you will proactively support the preparation, documentation and administration of the Underwriting process. Deliver effective and efficient Underwriting support for internal and external customers. Proactively liaise with other functions to ensure timely and accurate policy administration.     Policy Documentation and Coordination:~crlf~~crlf~##Proactively establish and maintain policy file (whether electronic or paper) for each risk and transaction handled~crlf~##Ensure accurate policy documentation issued to broker (where AGCS responsibility to do so) or broker has issued documentation (where broker responsibility)~crlf~##Support administration of International Insurance Programs (for relevant LoBs)~crlf~Accounts Reconciliations:~crlf~##Proactively support timely and accurate booking of policy premiums and credit control / collection processes~crlf~##Proactively work with other functions (e.g. operations, credit control) to resolve outstanding accounts queries~crlf~~crlf~Underwriting Support:~crlf~##Assist in underwriting of new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom line targets~crlf~##Proactively prepare relevant underwriting information including client / market research and claims data~crlf~##Assist in pricing of risks, using global tools as appropriate~crlf~~crlf~Underwriting Approach and Compliance:~crlf~##Provide proactive support to ensure Underwriting compliance in line with LoB governance framework - e.g. Underwriting Authorities, global MSU, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules and Principles~crlf~##Assist in ensuring contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at time of inception~crlf~##Assist in ensuring binding of FAC Reinsurance prior to policy inception~crlf~~crlf~Relationship Management:~crlf~##Proactively develop relationships with internal functional areas involved in Underwriting process, including MMC, ARC, Claims, & Operations~crlf~##Develop and maintain relationships with brokers at peer level

    ##Bachelor Degree: Preferably Degree in Economics, Law, or other appropriate discipline~crlf~##Trade Qualification: Progress towards professional insurance qualifcation (e.g. CII)~crlf~##1-3 years: Proven track record in Underwriting administration in LoB with c. 2 years experience~crlf~##Basic understanding of LoB products and portfolio~crlf~##Evidence of relationship building with brokers at peer group level~crlf~##Basic understanding of regional / local LoB insurance markets and competitor landscape~crlf~##Basic understanding of legal and regulatory framework ~crlf~##Experience working in a complex, global matrix organization~crlf~##Fluent in English~crlf~##Risk Assessment and Management: Ability to assess risk inherent exposures and natural hazards relevant to LoB~crlf~##Pricing: Analyze current performance against various benchmarks with a view to ensure adequate progress and satisfactory performance~crlf~##Contract Drafting and Interpretation: Design, develop and implement consistent, robust wordings ~crlf~##Market Management: Apply the knowledge of how the market operates and functions, the business needs and customer needs~crlf~##Policy Management: Robust understanding of policy administration life cycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, cancellation~crlf~##Communication skills: Clearly and effectively express ideas and messages via speech or writing.
